Louisiana's digitized-ID law gives a notary an option to accept digital identification even for specified notarial acts that are otherwise outside the chapter's ordinary acceptance rule. It does not require every notary or receiving party to accept a screenshot, an expired credential, or a device that cannot display the live ID. Bring a physical credential if available and confirm the document's own requirements.
