An affirmation is a solemn nonreligious equivalent of an oath. It carries the same seriousness and is used when the person prefers not to swear a religious oath.

IN PRACTICE

Confirm the document, signer, ID, witness, and location details before a signing.

DIRECTORY & GUIDES

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

Notaries listed here are independent professionals. A time request is not a booking; the notary must confirm availability, fees, and the appointment directly. Listings do not imply our endorsement.

Guides are general information, not legal advice. Public landmarks are orientation points, not a notary office or an approved signing venue. Confirm current requirements with the receiving party.
